If you’re not familiar with our ministry, please take a few moments to peruse the rest of our site. Ours is a ministry directed primarily towards American Christians; it is our goal to help wake them up to the stark reality that America’s woes (and as we shall see going forward, there are many) are primarily the fault of Christians. One of my favorite verses – and one that aptly applies to America today – is 2 Chronicles 7:14:
America had a godly heritage based on the Bible. God filled the land with Born-Again believers in Jesus Christ at our Nation’s founding. He also gave us the richest cache of natural resources on the planet. Yes, ours was a Nation that started out with everything going for it. Now, over 200 years later, we’re a Nation in decline – rapid decline. Things are getting much worse. Just in my lifetime I’ve seen things go from “Mayberry” to mayhem.
This blog will examine current events in the light of Biblical truth and in the light of our Nation’s history. I’ll demonstrate how the wickedness we see all around us in culture, politics, economics, etc. is the direct result of people disregarding God’s Word with a particular finger pointed at Christians, who are supposed to be Salt and Light.
In his epic series, How Should We Then Live, Francis Schaefer describes the “Christian Consensus” that once existed in America. In other words, even those who were not Christians in the Biblical sense (Born Again) behaved in public like Christians. Christian-like behavior was simply the American culture. That’s why people could keep their doors unlocked at night and car keys could be left in unlocked cars in the ignition. People could hang a rifle in their gun racks clearly visible through the pickup truck window. And so on…
The Christian Consensus pretty much flew out the window starting in the early 1960’s when the US Supreme Court kicked God out of our Nation’s classrooms (the seeds were sown far sooner than that). Little by little, America forsook her Christian roots replacing them with secular humanist ideologies. We’ve been on our way downhill ever since.
So join me on my journey through current events and discover how a focus on God’s Word – Absolute Truth – can help you to put things into perspective, find answers to the Nation’s problems, and help you to live a joyful life even in these turbulent times.

- If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
