A large reason for America's departure from our Christian heritage is the poor quality, secular education that Americans have been receiving for the past two generations.
To help reverse this trend, Dan decided to make his experience and expertise available to assist administrators and staff in Christian schools and in other educational venues. His goal is to help educators effectively implement quality, values-based education through sound methodology and philosophy. Dan has been prepared by the Lord for such a time as this. He has taught people of all ages, from Kindergarten |

- 10 Years of professional education experience including work at secular private and Classical Christian Schools.
Classroom Experience
- Professional middle and high school teacher with additional experience teaching grades three through five with national class averages on the SATs above the 90th percentile.
- Increased enrollment at several schools (reversed the trend of falling enrollment at one middle school).
- Taught numerous courses including US History, World History, European History, Life Science, Earth Science, Biology, Literature, Economics, Logic, Driver's Ed, and extra-curricular subjects to include phys ed, art, and music.
Educational Administrative Experience
- Professional Curriculum Development impacting over 8000 students at 23 schools in three states (oversaw Curriculum Development for a large private school corporation).
- Oversaw teacher training for 100's of teachers at 23 schools in three states (Developed teacher training workshops bringing together region supervisors, principals, teachers, and corporate executives from three states).
- Greatly enhanced a public middle school behavior management program impacting 375 students with a 90% reduction in classroom management issues.
- Developed school administration and discipline policies.
- Created school marketing materials resulting in increased return traffic.
- Wrote a school crisis preparedness manual for a private school.
- Created and delivered corporate level training for education professionals in three regions impacting 1000's of students and 100's of teachers.
- Developed corporate training materials and trained 100s of employees at GE Health Care (Knowledge Management Division).
- Developed the Practical Writing Method to teach students at 23 schools the fundamentals of writing.

- Former Assistant Pastor at an Independent Baptist Church in Burlington, VT for 1.5 years.
- Former Interim Pastor of an Independent Baptist Church in Enosburg Falls, VT for 1.5 years.
- Missionary with Amazing Grace Mission since 2011 (worked with them since 2007).
- President and founder of Daniel Charland Ministries (Dan and his family are serving as full-time missionaries to the United States).

- Graduated Summa cum Laude with a BA in History with a Minor in Education from Johnson State College, Johnson, VT and a Th.G. in Pastoral Theology from Baptist Bible College, Springfield, MO. Numerous national and college honors including Who's Who Among Students in American Universities & Colleges, National Dean's list, JSC President's List, JSC Ellsworth Scholar Award, JSC Chesamore Honor Society.
- Honorably Discharged Veteran of the United States Air Force with the following awards and honors: Honor Graduate of the Basic Military Training School; graduate of the USAF Security Police Academy; graduate of the NCO Academy, receiving the John L. Levitow Award for military excellence.
